The Open Door |
When you are searching for an open door, you will find one. For a while now, I have been searching for a new 'world'; a new place to find solace. I have been led to several blogs which have touched my soul. Blogs that have taught me that I am not alone in the sufferings of this world. Pain is universal. Everyone on this earth will one day have pain enter their life. For some of us, it starts at a very young age. For others, it comes later in life, when you least expect it. But, it comes. As I have said before, somewhere in this blog, it all has to do with how we handle it. It has to do with faith and friends and family (if you have it). We can all learn from each other. What a blessing this is...to find fellow travellers with wonderful insights and thoughts on how to deal with our experiences. Thank you all for your wisdom. May God Bless each and every one of you.
Menacy,
ReplyDeleteSo much of our lives seems to be about choices, doesn't it? Our attitude and what we focus on makes all the difference. I'm glad to know that you know the power of "faith, family and friends". It's hard to imagine life without them. But, even without family and friends (not all are blessed to have them), we always have the Lord to turn to, as His Word promises He will never leave or forsake us. That truth brings me great Peace, Joy and Comfort! I pray it does the same for you!
Blessings, Renee'
Dear Menancy,
ReplyDeleteI could not say it better than Renee has. Jesus said that He will NEVER leave us or forsake us. Even in our sorrows and anguish He sits with us, feels it with us and takes the burden for us. When We let Him into our heart, and ask Him to be Lord, and to forgive us where we have failed....then He can really get busy and work!!! He is all about transforming us and giving us joy even amid the debris of our lives. More importantly we then have the blessed hope of eternity in His presence. Life, and light and love and laughter....and joy...Oh the future in Christ Jesus. I am so excited! <3 <3 <3 Tonya
